These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the website and payment facilities of Radio Physics and Electronics Association (RPEA). By accessing this website or making any contribution through the payment gateway, users agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

RPEA is a non-profit alumni association associated with the Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta.

2. Nature of Contributions

All payments made to RPEA are voluntary contributions and not purchases of goods or commercial services. Contributions are accepted under the following categories:

• Annual Reunion Contribution
• Life Membership Contribution

RPEA does not accept donations outside the above-defined purposes.

3. Eligibility

Contributions are primarily intended for:

• Students, alumni, faculty, and staff of the Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics are eligible to be members of Radio Physics and Electronics Association (RPEA) and may contribute accordingly.
• Members and well-wishers associated with the activities of RPEA

By making a contribution, the contributor confirms that the information provided is accurate and complete.

4. Pricing and Amounts

Reunion Contribution: The amount may vary from year to year based on prevailing requirements.

Life Membership Contribution: The minimum contribution is ₹2000. Contributors may voluntarily contribute a higher amount.

All amounts are payable in Indian Rupees (INR) only.

5. Refund & Cancellation

All contributions made to RPEA are strictly non-refundable and non-cancellable.

In the event of any technical issue during payment, appropriate system-generated messages will be displayed, and the matter will be handled as per the payment gateway's standard procedures.

6. Payment Gateway

Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways authorized by RPEA. RPEA does not store or process sensitive payment information such as card details, UPI credentials, or net banking passwords.

RPEA shall not be held responsible for any downtime, technical failure, or transaction delays attributable to the payment gateway or banking systems.

7. Use of Information

Personal information collected during the contribution process is used solely for:

• Membership and alumni records
• Event coordination and communication
• Internal administrative purposes

Data handling is governed by RPEA's Privacy Policy.

8. Organizational Status

Radio Physics and Electronics Association is currently an unregistered association, with Society Registration under process. These Terms shall remain valid irrespective of the completion of the registration process.

9. Modification of Terms

RPEA reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated terms will be effective upon publication on the website.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal.
